The Montresor family are great ambassadors of the wine culture of Lake Garda, in the region of Verona. Their Ottella estate and winery is located within San Benedetto di Lugana, widely regarded as one of the best DOCs for Italian white wines. The whites are made exclusively of Trebbiano di Lugana, or Turbiana, as the local strain of what is believed to be Verdicchio, is called. “The Ottella philosophy is to create wines that have an exact nose to palate correspondence, wines that are fine and elegant in their evolutions, and thrilling in their mineral sensation,” explain the Montresor brothers, Francesco and Michele.
