2021 Harewood Estate FLUX-III Chardonnay
Double Gold – Gilbert & Gaillard: Light yellow robe, green reflections. Captivating nose combining white fruits, butter, grapefruit. Opulent, concentrated and nervous palate that deploys generously greedy aromas of a superb persistence. A wine to culminate in a grilled lobster.
2020 Eisenstone Hoffmann Vineyard Ebenezer Shiraz SV902 (Sold Out)
Double Gold – Gilbert & Gaillard: Dark garnet colour, some tiled reflections. Nose marked by oak, fruit reds, spices, menthol and tobacco in the background. Powerful mouth, sanguine and mineral with splendid youthful aromas. An ambitious balanced wine exemplary, magnificent.
2022 Highgate Hunter Valley Chardonnay
Gold – Gilbert & Gaillard: Brilliant light yellow gold colour. Pleasant nose associating fruits with white flesh, vanilla and creamy notes. Round mouth, rich and fleshy, very fragrant (citrus, spices), very discreet oak. A complete, gourmet set, versatile use.
Double Gold – Gilbert & Gaillard: Fairly sustained orange-pink colour. Pleasant nose revealing red fruits, sour cherry, creamy and spicy notes. Smooth, ample and savory palate with appreciates the purity, the delicious intensity, the final persistence. A rosé for roasted white meats.
Gold – Gilbert & Gaillard: Limpid red color. Pleasant nose revealing red fruits, a smoky touch, fine spices. Full-bodied and alert on the palate that overflows with joyful fruit and gourmet, notes of tobacco and pepper as it evolves. An accessible wine that will know charm a chili con carne.
2021 Highgate Organic Shiraz South Australia
Double Gold – Gilbert & Gaillard: Lustrous dark red with youthful tints. Crisp nose evoking stone fruits. The same fruity aromatics flavour the ample, substantial palate, uplifted by great freshness. The wine then reveals a discreet, woody note on the finish.
2021 Highgate Organic Cabernet Sauvignon South Australia
Gold – Gilbert & Gaillard: Deep violet-purple. Attractive nose mixing floral, fruity and woody tones. Polished attack then a palate of exemplary focus framed in very well integrated tannin. A splendidly pure offering, just right for red meat dishes.
